Sales Leadership & Enablement | Equipment Finance | On-Site | $140,000-$170,000
About LeasePoint Funding Group, LLC.
LeasePoint provides a single point of access for capital equipment financing. With a diverse group of funding sources, LeasePoint has the flexibility to work with a wide range of credit profiles, including clients who fall outside the standards of conventional financing.
Description
Are you the kind of sales leader who measures your success by what your team produces, not just what closes on your own desk? Do you light up when a representative you’ve coached finally locks in their pitch, runs a clean discovery call, or pushes through a deal they wouldn’t have closed six months ago?
LeasePoint Funding Group is a fast-growing specialty equipment finance company looking for a Sales Manager to lead, develop, and elevate our Account Executive team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building the enablement and coaching capabilities our team needs to grow into top producers.
You’ll partner closely with our VP of Revenue & Business Development on strategy and direction while owning the day-to-day management, training, coaching, and hiring of Account Executives. This role is for someone who genuinely loves developing people, has a proven track record to support it, and wants to build a sales organization they can be proud of.
What’s In It for You
This role offers the opportunity to step into a true builder position at a growing financial services company. You won’t inherit a polished playbook and a perfectly tenured team. You’ll build the enablement function, shape how we train and coach, and directly influence how the next generation of Account Executives performs.
You’ll work alongside leadership, gaining visibility and influence across the business with a clear path to expand your scope as the company and sales team grow.
Why This Role Matters
Our Account Executive team has real talent and drive, but consistent enablement, coaching, and development are necessary to turn potential into predictable results. That gap is exactly what this role fills.
As Sales Manager, you’ll build the operating rhythms, sharpen the skills, and establish the standards that make our sales team measurably better month over month. The investment you make in our Account Executives will show up directly in pipeline quality, conversion rates, and revenue.
Who You Are
- You’ve carried a quota and hit it, and you know what effective selling looks like in practice.
- You genuinely enjoy coaching and can break down what makes a deal work into something a developing representative can learn and repeat.
- You give direct, honest feedback while leaving people motivated to improve.
- You balance empathy with accountability and understand the difference between supporting a representative and carrying them.
- You’re organized and disciplined about maintaining consistent one-on-one meetings, pipeline reviews, and role-playing sessions.
- You’re comfortable being on the floor, in the bullpen, and in the room where the work happens.
- You partner effectively with senior leadership without losing your own point of view.
What You’ll Do
You’ll own the day-to-day leadership, development, and performance of the Account Executive team, including:
- Directly manage and coach the Account Executive team through consistent one-on-one meetings, pipeline reviews, and participation in live calls.
- Partner with the VP of Revenue & Business Development on sales strategy, territory planning, and goal setting while translating that strategy into day-to-day execution.
- Build and run a sales enablement program that includes onboarding for new Account Executives, ongoing skills training, call coaching, and deal reviews.
- Develop playbooks, talk tracks, objection-handling frameworks, and other tools the team needs to sell consistently.
- Hold the team accountable to activity standards, pipeline hygiene, and conversion metrics while helping team members improve in each area.
- Identify skill gaps across the team and build targeted development plans to address them.
- Review pipeline and forecasts with each Account Executive, sharpen deal strategy, and help move stalled deals forward.
- Run focused, prepared, and useful team meetings tied to the team’s development needs.
- Partner with credit, funding, and servicing teams to help transactions move smoothly through the business.
- Identify recurring patterns in wins and losses and incorporate those insights into sales strategy and training.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and ramp plans for new Account Executives as the team grows.
This job description describes the general nature of the role and is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities. Duties and priorities may evolve as business needs change.
